Shaping Services for Carers Across North Lincolnshire
We empower carers to advocate for better local services, addressing issues that impact their lives, health, and well-being.

Championing Carer Rights
Carers in Partnership (CIP) was established in 2009 to support unpaid carers in North Lincolnshire who provide care for adults or children with additional needs. Since then, the Partnership has evolved and now works with partners in health, education, and social care to improve services for carers and those they care for.
We help carers voice concerns that affect their lives, health, and well-being, often related to challenges faced by those they care for. We work closely with North Lincolnshire Council, NLaG, RDaSH, local schools, colleges, and Carer Support Services. Our goal is ensuring carers’ opinions are heard by the agencies that commission and shape services, creating positive change.
Carers in Partnership meets once a month, enabling carers to contribute to policy development, influence and shape changes, and learn about new initiatives that may benefit them.
CIP also partners with North Lincolnshire Council to create the strategy document outlining how to best support the most vulnerable residents in the region.
Advocating for Carers Since 2009
Carers in Partnership (CiP) is made up of Carers, former Carers and professionals from local organisations including North Lincolnshire Council and North Lincolnshire NHS, RDaSH, Healthwatch, HNY ICB and Carers Support Agencies. The CiP gives Carers an opportunity to work collaboratively with partners, actively shaping and influencing service delivery, as well as helping to set the local agenda for Carers and influence strategic direction. By working together, the CiP helps to contribute to improved outcomes for Carers as well as the people that they care for.
